This position is full time, 1st shift 6am-2pm. Pay is based on experience. $25-$30+

QUALIFICATIONS

·       Minimum of 3 years of experience

·       Overhead crane and forklift certified a plus

·       Strong math skills, ability to read a tape measure, and an understanding of blue prints

·       Experience in Metal Core 052 to 06, Hard Wire 035 to 045, Flux Core 052 to 062 and Multiple Pass a must

·       Knowledge of machines and tools, comfort working with hand tools, grinder, torch, etc.

·       Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

·       Ability to prioritize and multitask

Requirements

·       Position and secure work pieces using hoists, cranes, wire and banding machines or hand tools

·       Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead position

·       Hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components

·       Ability to complete open table set ups

·       Able to work with gage steel through to thick plate

·       Assist with welding of weldments

·       Forklift operation

·       Other duties as assigned or directed by Management
