Job Description :
There are openings on 1st and 2nd shift available for this position. You must have a minimum of 4 years experience in Industrial Maintenance in a manufacturing environment to apply. Please include a current resume when applying.

 

Job Summary: Perform a wide variety of duties to support machine operation. This position is responsible for the setup and minor repair of all mechanical, hydraulic and specialty equipment within the facility. Quality of assembly are top concern to ensure that the correct components are used by following samples, orders and other documents to meet product specifications. 

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities 


  • Set-up, troubleshoot, minor repair and maintain all equipment and machinery within the facility

  • Inspects and measures parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems 

  • Removes and replaces worn parts 

  • Removes and replaces machine tooling 

  • Realigns and adjusts components 

  • Starts machine/equipment to test operation following repair 

  • Perform spin testing to confirm correct setup 

  • Responsible for monitoring inventory levels and to ensure materials are available in cells Responsible for maintaining tools and spare parts inventory 

  • Maintains constant contact with production personnel, supervisors and engineers to obtain maximum machine uptime and improve standards

  • Perform the required preventive maintenance (PM) work 

  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with company standards and 6S program Demonstrate basic knot development skills 

  • Responsible for training as assigned 

  • Must follow all company policies and procedures 

  • Other duties or special projects as assigned


 

 
Required Qualifications :
Qualifications & Skills Required 


  • High School/GED, must have a minimum of 4 years industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment 

  • Basic knowledge and work experience in electrical and hydraulic systems 

  • Proficient with the use of adjustable measuring devices, rules, scales, gages and fixtures 

  • Basic knowledge of tool room equipment 

  • Experience in troubleshooting PLC programs a plus 

  • Power truck experience a plus 

  • Ability to identify, solve problems, and multi-task under deadlines. 

  • Basic knowledge in Microsoft office 

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 

  • Self-motivational, enthusiastic, and have a positive attitude 

  • Ability to perform as a team player
